The classes always fill quickly and many of the enrollees return year after year, especially during this spectacular time of year in northern New Mexico. Class enrollment has ended for Fall 2021 but exciting new class offerings are being designed for 2022.
The summer Leisure Learning classes were July 19 to 23, 2021 and received rave reviews by each of the fifty-eight adult learners who attended.
Five classes were offered in July 2021:
Beginning and Intermediate Fly Fishing

A Pueblo Pottery Journey
Exploring Watermedia: Creating Art in the Taos Landscape
The Presence and the Past: Public History in Taos and Northern New Mexico
The week included a social event at the Doel Reed Center on Sunday, July 18, classes Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday with a free day on Wednesday for shopping and exploring. Wednesday concluded with an evening gathering for food and drink and a very special event was held Friday to honor Burns and Ann Hargis for their many years of support of the Doel Reed Center.
