Discover Taos, New Mexico!
Taos is a small, multi-cultural town nestled in the Sangre de Christo Mountains in Northern New Mexico. Taos Pueblo, a UNESCO World Heritage Site at the north end of Taos, has been home to Pueblo people for more than a millennium. Spanish settlement of Taos began in the 17th century; many families of Spanish descent have lived in the region for over 400 years. The exquisite light and landscape of the area have attracted artists from around the world, making Taos a pre-eminent artist colony. Taos offers galleries, museums, restaurants, historical sites, shopping, skiing and extensive outdoor activities.
