Giving Opportunities

The Doel Reed Reed Center in Taos attracts visiting artists and scholars to produce original works, teach seminars and collaborate with students of all ages and academic disciplines. The Center's growing academic and leisure learning programs assist OSU in fulfilling its land-grant mission through innovative educational opportunities available to current students, alumni and friends. Martha Reed provided the Center and seed money for the Property Endowment to maintain the facilities.
Please consider partnering with us to sustain Martha's vision at the Doel Reed Center for the Arts. Gifts ensure the availability of exciting programming and help OSU to protect, restore and expand the use of the property provided through the original Reed estate.

Giving Options

Doel Reed Property Renovations Fund

Due to the growth in our Leisure Learning and Academic Credit courses, expanding our classroom space at the property is a high priority. It will allow OSU to expand the use of the property with additions such as a covered plaza or ramada that will serve as an outdoor classroom and event space.

Doel Reed Annual Scholarship Fund

Located in beautiful Taos, New Mexico, the Doel Reed Center allows students to take in the rich culture and history of Northern New Mexico while learning unique and valuable skills through the diverse courses offered. While many students compare their time at the Doel Reed Center in Taos to a study-abroad experience, they consistently point to scholarships as the reason they did—or could—spend a few weeks in Taos. These courses often expose students to new topics and ways of thinking and can even impact their approach to their education.

Doel Reed Center Program Fund

It supports classes for OSU students and lifelong learners as well as outreach programming provided by visiting artists and scholars, and OSU faculty. Private support provides the extra class amenities and teaching tools that other OSU funding does not provide.
